The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a notice to Heritage Foods over its “Fresh Paneer” labeling, calling the claim potentially misleading under food regulations. The company has been asked to explain within seven days why action should not be initiated under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
