The unusual growing list of tragedies involving Telugu people staying in abroad refuse to take a break as more similar incidents continue to happen quite often. In another unfortunate news to report, a Telugu student has lost his life in a foreign country.
Going into the news, a BTech student from Hyderabad who went missing in Finland has tragically been found dead. The deceased youngster, identified as Gujja Manideep Reddy, was a resident of the Hayathnagar area.
He was pursuing his higher education at the prestigious LUT University in Lahti, Finland. His body was discovered by local authorities at the Kruunuvuorenranta waterfront after sixty-five days.
The young student had mysteriously disappeared in May. During his last phone call, he told his mother he was visiting a local bakery. He also requested some money and mentioned he would head back to his accommodation. That brief conversation turned out to be the final time his family ever heard from him.
As the days passed without any communication, his desperate parents sought urgent legal intervention. In June, they approached the Telangana High Court after forty-five days of painful wait.
His father Muthyam Reddy filed a formal petition to accelerate the search. They expressed immense frustration over the lack of updates from the university and local authorities.
The student’s friends and roommates in Finland were also unable to offer any helpful information. Despite repeated attempts by the family, no concrete details emerged about his sudden whereabouts.
Unfortunately, the prolonged search operation concluded with the tragic discovery of his body in the water. The National Bureau of Investigation in Finland is currently examining the exact cause of death.
However, law enforcement officials have clarified that no criminal foul play is currently suspected. The bureau stated that further sensitive details cannot be disclosed to the public right now.
The sudden and devastating news has left his family and home community in deep pain.
