Sudden and unexpected health complications have taken away too many lives of NRIs in abroad in recent times. Majority of these cases belong to Telugu community residing in different parts of USA. In another tragic update, a Telugu Techie passed away due to a rare health issue.
As per reports, Venkata Raviteja Ravipati (34), a software developer lead residing in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly due to a rare Type-A aortic dissection. The incident happened on July 17 around 2:00 AM when Raviteja was on a video call with his sister, who resides in Hyderabad.
During the call, he complained of severe pain and a pulling sensation in his left leg. He attempted to sit in Vajrasana posture to seek relief. This lead to an immediate chest pain.
He was initially taken to a nearby emergency facility. However, due to the lack of specialist doctors available at that hour, he had to be transferred to another hospital. This critical delay contributed to multi-organ strain.
Medical staff performed emergency treatments and initially reported that he was stabilizing. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he passed away in the early hours of July 18.
What is more heartbreaking is that Raviteja had recently purchased a home in the U.S., and his parents had traveled from India to attend the housewarming ceremony.
