Anti-Hindu Attacks in US? Two More Incidents Reported!

In a shocking scenario, two attack incidents against Hindus were reported in the United States. The attacks took place in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan state. The alleged reason for these attacks is followed by terror attack plot at a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois.

Going into the details, the attack incidents took place on October 18 and 19, raising concerns about the safety of Hindu temples and devotees in the region.

On October 18, at around 7 pm, the culprit trespassed the Subrahmanya Temple in Farmington Hills, Michigan. According to the report, the person littered the temple premises with offensive materials and verbally abused people present there.

The temple team responded quickly and locked an inner door to prevent the situation from escalating. The police were alerted and subsequently arrested the trespasser.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident late on October 19, a Hindu devotee returning home from the Parashakti Temple reported that someone had fired at their car while they were travelling on the road. Luckily, the devotee escaped and no one was injured in the incident.

The temple management reported the shooting incident to the Pontiac Police Department. The two incidents have drawn attention to concerns over the safety of Hindu religious institutions and their devotees in the Metro Detroit region.

The details of the incidents were shared by a social media user Suril Patel. However, more details about the motive behind the incidents need to be ascertained. Also, it is not clear whether these two incidents are connected or not.

It can be noted that a mass shooting plot targeting the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Aurora, Illinois, was foiled on October 11. The suspect was arrested based on a tip off from his colleague at Taco Bell who alerted the emergency services.

All these shocking incidents clearly indicate the growing anti-Hindu and anti-South Asian violence.
