Shanaya Kapoor, cousin of actress Janhvi Kapoor, is finally stepping into films after years of social media buzz. She will be seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey. The film is a romantic drama inspired by Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It. Vikrant plays a blind musician, while Shanaya plays a theatre artist. Directed by Santosh Singh, the film is set to release in theatres on 11 July 2025.
Ahead of the release, Shanaya shared new pictures where she poses confidently in a dark, fitted outfit. Shanaya Kapoor is seen wearing a fitted, dark-coloured outfit, maybe a dress or a matching set, which shows off her natural figure nicely. Her look is simple but stylish, her hair is tied back neatly, which helps highlight her graceful body posture.
The film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan has been shot in Mussoorie and Mumbai. It is produced by Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla, and Vipin Agnihotri under Zee Studios and Mini Films. This movie seems like a good launch for Shanaya’s acting journey, not just a regular love story, but one where her role also gives her scope to act. People will be excited to watch how she brings her Instagram charm to the big screen.
