Buzz: PK to join Congress?

A few days back popular political strategist Prashant Kishor made it to the headlines for his back-to-back meetings with NCP chief Sharad Pawar. But then this meeting did not draw anything except for grabbing the attention.

And suddenly PK met Congress Gandhis i.e, Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Vadra at the scion’s residence. The discussions went for nearly four hours but this meeting surprised many political onlookers. Earlier PK and RaGa showed disinterest in working together while Prashant Kishor openly criticised the Congress party for its working style and managing its political activities.

Now the Delhi sources and Congress insiders are widely believing that PK might join Congress. Whether it’s true or untrue, this buzz has gained huge importance and wondering how come PK developed sudden interest for Congress.

Post the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu polls, PK made it clear that he doesn’t want to continue his poll strategy and would want to take some break and spend some time with his family.

But Prashant did not stick to his words and immediately got busy with meeting opposition leaders. And now we are hearing he wants to take up full time politics and that too the Congress which is in a spot of bother from 2014. The Congress needs revival plans for its lost glory and PK could definitely add value.

Close sources to PK say that his target is not just the Uttar Pradesh or any other state Assembly elections but it’s primarily the 2024 general elections. With these developments Prashant Kishor is certain that he is planning something big and it seriously needs to be taken a note off.
