Naarappa Trailer: Raw & Intense

Riding high with the consecutive hits of Guru, F2 and Venky Mama, Venkatesh will next be seen in Naarappa which marks his second collaboration with director Sreekanth Addala. Produced jointly by Suresh Babu and Kalipuli S Thanu, the film’s trailer has been dropped just a while ago.

The trailer begins with a fiery Venkatesh walking in slow motion with a sickle in his hand. Without revealing much of the plotline, the trailer packs a punch with some really powerful shots. Venky plays dual roles and the video shows a glimpse of both the characters of father and son. He is simply outstanding in the two roles. Karthik Ratnam will be seen as Venky’e elder son.

The trailer has a thought-provoking dialogue uttered by Venkatesh. He says his son that they can be robbed off their land but not their right for education. Priyamani makes a small appearance, though her role as Naarappa’s wife is said to be significant. Shyam K Naidu’s cinematography and Mani Sharma’s BGM are other highlights.

The trailer is raw and intense. It sure has set the ball rolling for the film scheduled for direct release on July 20th on Amazon Prime.
