‘Give Me A Chance For Just Two Years’

Suspended Congress leader Koushik Reddy will be joining the TRS party tomorrow in the presence of chief KCR. Regarding the same Koushik Reddy held a press meet and made some interesting comments on the Huzurabad by-election.

“I will take complete responsibility for the Huzurabad constituency development. I’m not asking the voters to give me time like Etala controlled the constituency for 17 odd years. From here Huzurabad has just two years and I promise to transform this place under the leadership of KCR. If I don’t live up to the expectations of people, I myself will tell people not to vote for TRS party in the 2023 Assembly elections,” said Koushik Reddy.

On Etala’s comment who said attempts are being made to kill, Koushik Reddy reacted. “It was this Etala who has a hand in brutal murder of former MPP Balraj in 2014 and now he is strangely talking about revenge politics,” said Koushik Reddy.

In a news channel show Revanth Reddy stated that Koushik Reddy will turn into a scapegoat in the hands of KCR. Koushik responded to this comment and added “I thank Revanth Reddy for recognising that I have always preferred his name for the PCC chief post. But after becoming PCC, Revanth turned ignorant. From day one, I have been appealing to Revanth to appoint in-charges for the constituency. But not one once my requests were considered and how bluntly Revanth said Congress will lose Huzurabad by-poll when there was a huge scope.”

So that’s it for Koushik Reddy who is all set to take up the TRS flag. But will he be the Huzurabad candidate for the TRS party? KCR is looking at many options and Koushik Reddy is only one of them. As the by-poll is yet to be announced, there is ample time for KCR to decide upon a candidate.
