Motkupalli Quits BJP, Likely To Join TRS

Former minister Motkupalli Narasimhulu has resigned from the BJP. Motkupalli was apparently upset with the Telangana BJP leadership for not giving him prominence in the party. In January 2020, Motkupalli joined BJP after TRS snubbed him.

However, Motkupalli’s resignation was no surprise. Ever since Motkupalli attended the CM KCR’s conference on the Dalit issues, there was something brewing in T-BJP and TRS. There are reports that Motkupalli is moving close to TRS party and post the Dalit meeting, he was all praise of KCR. But Motkupalli added that he informed T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay before going to the meeting of CM KCR.

Motkupalli targeted former TRS leader Etala Rajender. “I have no information about Etala joining BJP. But I was surprised that without proving the corruption allegations against him, BJP laid a red carpet for him,” said Motkupalli. He also appealed to the people of Huzurabad to boycott Etala in the by-election.

But Motkupalli did not inform which party he would be joining next. High buzz is that it would be TRS.
