The Telangana politics are revolving around Huzurabad by-elections. With Etala Rajender resigning, the TRS government wants to retain the sitting seat and accordingly the KCR government has sanctioned Rs 2000 crore for the constituency’s development. Also from August 16th, it will roll out the ‘Dalit Bandhu’ scheme as pilot project. So it’s all happening in Huzurabad.
Oppositions have caught the TRS government’s tricks and they want to follow the trend of resigning for the development of their constituency. Earlier Munogodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy claimed that he would also tender resignation for the development of his constituency. But he is far from action.
Now another MLA has come forward and wants to quit. He is BJP MLA Raja Singh who represents Goshamahal constituency. Announcing this, Raja Singh said, “There is a pressure on me from the people of my constituency and so I’m willing to resign to my MLA post.”
Criticising CM KCR, Raja Singh added whenever there is any election, Telangana CM displays a sudden love towards farmers, SCs, STs and other backward classes. There are many weaker section people in my constituency as well and CM KCR should also give Rs 10 Lakh to people in my place. If KCR does so, I will quit as MLA.
This resignation and development trend is now spreading faster than expected and many TRS MLAs are facing problems in their own constituency. Looks like TRS invited its own trouble.
