Bengali actress and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Nusrat Jahan was blessed with a baby boy on Thursday. The actress turned politician was admitted to Neotia Hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday evening and this noon at around 12:20, she gave birth to the child.
From the hospital management sources, both Nusrat and newborn are doing fine. This morning Nusrat took to her Instagram and shared an offbeat picture of her. “Faith Over Fear #positivity #morningvibesmany,” captioned Nusrat to the picture.
In June 2019, Nusrat and Kolkata based businessman Nikhil Jain tied the knot in a destination wedding in Turkey. But this wedding was not registered under the Special Marriage Act in India. On her wedding, Nusrat claimed that her relationship with husband Nikhil Jain was more of a live-in and was not valid under Indian law.
There are rumours that Nusrat is seeing actor Yash Dasgupta and he was beside Nusrat during the labour.
Ms Jahan’s estranged husband Nikhil Jain said, “There might be differences between us, but I am wishing the newborn and his mother all the best. I wish the baby boy has a bright future.”
