Lokesh Yedava, BJP Sollu Puranam – Kodali Nani

Published by

Minister Kodali Nani, who is known for his demeaning comments on his political rivals, is back to his trademark style. Amidst the opposition parties cornering AP state government over imposing restrictions of Vinayaka Chavithi festivities, minister Kodali Nani fumed at the AP BJP and Nara Lokesh.

“BJP is trying to do politics around idols in the state. BJP and its ally has been badly defeated in Tirupati. They haven’t gotten even deposits in the Tirupati by-election. Tirupati Venkanna and Lord Balaji couldn’t make BJP win in Tirupati. Still they don’t have shame,” said an angry Kodali Nani.

Attacking former minister and TDP national secretary Nara Lokesh, “Lokesh oka yedava. Not just in Mangalagiri, I challenge Lokesh to win as an MLA in any of the 175 Assembly constituencies first. Oka MLA Ga Gelichaka, Appudu Vaadi Sodi, Sollu Memu Vintamu. Oka MLA Ga Panikiraani Vedava, Naabothi Vaade Pattinchukodu, Mukhyamantri Gaari Gurinchi Maatladithe, Ee Sannasi Gurinchi Mukhyamantri Garu Ela Pattinchukuntaru?”

Commenting on the government restrictions on Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations, minister Nani defended that the restrictions are in place due to Covid-19 surge. He claimed that the Centre has passed the guidelines to all the states on Covid restrictions and the same guidelines are being followed in AP like in other states. He defended that group activities and celebrations during Vinayaka Chavithi festival may lead to Covid surge as the threat of third wave of Covid is looming large. Overall, Nani attacked BJP and Nara Lokesh. However, this time, Nani isn’t successful as his comments may backfire. It needs to be seen how BJP, TDP and Janasena would counter Nani.
