‘BC’ Card On Naidu! Why Not ‘Reddy’ Card On JC?

Ever since former minister and TDP’s senior leader Atchennaidu was arrested by ACB officials in connection with the Employees’ State Insurance scam, the political storm broke out in Andhra Pradesh.

While alleging the ruling YCP of indulging in vendetta politics, Chandrababu Naidu raises the caste of Atchennaidu and accused the government of targeting a BC leader specifically. And this has naturally invited a lot of reactions from both sides.

Interestingly, hours after Atchennaidu’s arrest, the transport department of Anantapur earthed the BS-III scam of ex TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmith Reddy for allegedly showing 66-odd trucks of BS-III complaint as BS-IV complaint.

JC Prabhakar Reddy and JC Asmith Reddy had allegedly bought the trucks from Nagaland as scrap and showed it as BS-IV complaint and got NOC certificates from Nagaland state.

Now that Reddy leaders too arrested for their alleged involvement in another scam, YCP leaders and netizens are questioning whether Naidu allege YCP government off targeting Reddy leaders since he had raised BC community for Atchennaidu’s arrest.
