Saidabad Rape: Victim’s family rejects TS Govt’s Rs 20 Lakh Aid!

Apart from a tweet from minister KTR, the Telangana government did not react properly on the rape and murder of 6 year old resident of Saidabad. After many politicians paid a visit to the victim’s family, the Telangana government responded.

Telangana Home Minister Mohammad Ali and Satyavathi Rathod have met the victim’s family and pacified them. Then the ministers handed over a Rs 20 Lakh cheque as financial assistance to the family.

But the victim’s family rejected the financial assistance and returned the cheque to the ministers. With the family being reluctant to accept the cheque, the ministers were left with no option rather than head back. The family urged the Home Minister to catch the culprit at the earliest and to this the minister replied that the police are working very hard accordingly.

Meanwhile, media reports claim that the accused Raju is roaming in Uppal. Several CCTV footage are monitored and his whereabouts are almost traced. Across the twin cities and adjacent districts, police are in mufti at wine shops because Raju is a drunkard. The police are confident of nabbing Raju by the end of Thursday.
