‘Proud That He Died For The Country’ Col Santosh Babu’s Mother

Commanding officer of 16 Bihar regiment Colonel Santosh Babu lost life in India-China faceoff yesterday. Colonel Santosh Babu belonged to Suryapet and his mother responded on her son’s death.

Santosh’s Mother Manjula spoke to media and when questioned how she is coping, she said she is proud on one side that her only son fought for the country and died martyr, while she is heartbroken for losing him as a mother.

Santosh’s mother turned emotional while she was speaking to the media and said she was informed later today afternoon and her daughter in law in Delhi knew the news last night.
