On October 2nd, Telangana IT minister KTR’s vehicle took a wrong direction at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad to pay home to Gandhi on his birth anniversary. Since KTR’s vehicle drove in the wrong direction, the on-duty traffic cops issued an e-challan.
KTR reacted to the e-challan and paid off the fine. Later KTR met the traffic cops who imposed the challan and felicitated them. The Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar shared a video of KTR meeting the traffic cops and rewarding them.
“When Hon’ ble Minister Sri KTR not only pays the traffic fine but also rewards the police officer for being upright, it inspires both the police and the public. This is #Leadership,” tweeted CP Anjani Kumar.
“Just doing my citizen duty CP Garu,” replied KTR to the video. It’s a small example that no one is an exception for following traffic rules.
