Looks like the YSRCP government is doing all that is needed to restrict Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar to take over the AP State Election Commissioner. The Supreme Court of India has already declined to issue a stay on the petition filed by the state government and one more petition was filed in connection with the same case.
The fresh petition is made by AP State Election Commission (APSEC) Secretary and he urged the apex court to issue a stay on High Court’s verdict. However the Supreme Court refused to issue a stay.
Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde led bench heard this petition and added that the court has already taken up the petition of state government and APSEC’s petition can’t be considered as an individual one.
“We have heard this case and issued notices based on the earlier finding. All we can do is, to tag this petition to the previous ones which are filed in the concerned case,” said the SA Bobde led bench. The further hearing of the case is scheduled next week.
With this all the doors have closed for Jagan led YCP government in Nimmagadda row.
