CM Slams Central Govt Over Aryan Khan’s Case

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray slammed the Central government by reacting to Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s drug case. Thackeray, while speaking at Shiv Sena’s annual Dussehra rally in Mumbai, accused the Central government of using investigative agencies to “catch celebrities and click pictures with them”.

Maha CM asked, “Is drug seizure only happening in Maharashtra? Drugs worth crores were seized from Mundra Port. Worth Rs 150 crore has been seized by state police recently while the focus is only on arrests of celebrities… Where is Mundra port where drugs worth crores of rupees were seized?”.

Thackeray did not hesitate to take a dig at the Centre and said the central agencies (NCB) are only interested in catching celebrities and getting their pictures clicked. Thackeray’s attack has come in view of Aaryan Khan’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

A few weeks ago, certain reports claimed that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes and Nora would be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a lawsuit of money laundering. It was reported that Nora Fatehi was called by the ED in relation to the Rs 200 crore fraud case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
