Viral Videos: Rs 6K from TRS, Rs 10K from BJP!

The campaign for the Huzurabad by-election concluded last evening. As per the Election Commission norms, the political parties can only campaign from door-to-door with restrictions. However, this door-to-door campaign led to distribution of money to the people.

The ruling TRS party and BJP are indulging in this filthy trick to attract voters. TRS reportedly has started this from Wednesday morning. Unidentified TRS leaders are said to be distributing envelopes that have cash in a few villages. Last night a video surfaced in which an oldie received an envelope which had Rs 6,000 cash and this was reportedly done by the ruling party.

This morning another video made it to the headlines and a woman received an envelope which had the photo of Etala Rajender and the BJP’s election symbol. As she opened the envelope, we see five Rs 2000 notes and the total was Rs 10,000.

And there are incidents where people are protesting for money. In few parts of Huzurabad constituency, people alleged that parties are distributing money in the neighbouring villages but they are not getting the money in their village.

The Election Commission and the police are playing spectator in controlling the money flow in Huzurabad. With just one day left, both TRS and BJP are in no mood to take chances.

Meanwhile the Congress is staying away from this as the party has knowledge that it has zero chance of winning in Huzurabad.
