KTR Backs Sonu Sood On IT Raids

In September, the Income Tax department held raids at the residence and officers of actor Sonu Sood. The IT department accused actor Sonu of evading taxes worth over Rs 20 crore. Reacting to these accusations, Sonu added that every Rupee of the donations he received will be spent for the needy through his Sonu Sood Foundation.

Telangana IT minister KTR has backed Sonu Sood on these IT raids. At the felicitation of Covid-19 warriors, KTR was in all praise of Sonu. “It’s easy to criticise on social media but Sonu Sood used it effectively. For Sonu’s invaluable contribution, he was rewarded with IT and ED departments raids. But Sonu has nothing to fear about these raids,” said KTR.

Further the TRS minister said Sonu Sood is the real hero and we will stand by him. “I hope he continues his good work and the Telangana government is ready to work with him,” KTR stated.

Accepting the compliments, Sonu Sood said that Covid-19 was very challenging in everyone’s life. “If we had more leaders like KTR, my necessity would not arise but I vowed that I would help whoever approaches me from any corner of the country,” said Sonu.

Post the IT raids on Sonu Sood, the further steps related to this case are yet to move ahead. Off late IT raids have become common on any celebrated individual.
