Frustration Behind KCR’s Rant: Kishan Reddy

Union minister Kishan Reddy hit back at Telangana CM KCR and believed that the defeat in Huzurabad by-election and inability to make his son, KTR the CM of Telangana are the reasons behind KCR’s criticism of the BJP government.

“KCR is speaking out of ‘Putra Vastalyam’ frustration. He could not make his son the CM of the state and is worried he can do it in future. Then in the Huzurabad by-election, people rejected the TRS government despite influencing them with money, liquor and many things,” said Kishan Reddy.

On the procurement of Paddy (parboiled) rice, Kishan Reddy explained that in 2014, the government of India secured 43 metric tons from Telangana while for the current year, the centre is collecting 94 metric tons. After Punjab, Telangana is the second largest state to provide parboiled rice.

Kishan Reddy defended the high fuel prices and added that the price fluctuation is based on the prices of international crude oil prices. “The Centre spends a lot of money on many schemes. We are providing free ration from Covid-19 lockdown and then we are giving away vaccines at free of cost. When GST collections drop, we have imposed CESS, to compensate for the GST drop,” added Kishan Reddy.

Throwing the blame on TRS government over medical colleges, Kishan Reddy added the government of India sends a detailed envelope for medical colleges which would be set up with sixty percent Centre’s contribution and the rest by state’s. CM KCR never visits the Secretariat and he has no clue whether the government of India sends any letters for projects etc.

Lastly Kishan Reddy added that the BJP government will not get scared of KCR’s unasked rant.
