Jagan Gives Utmost Importance To Shah’s Visit

AP CM YS Jagan has flown down to Tirupati on Saturday night to receive Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is in the temple town to attend the Southern Zonal Council Meet on Sunday. CM Jagan welcomed Shah at Tirupati airport at around 7.50 pm along with Chief Secretary, DGP, ministers and other key leaders as per the protocol. Jagan has arrived 30 minutes early to the airport to receive Shah. Ministers Peddireddy, Goutham Reddy, Narayana Swamy, MP Gurumurthy, TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy had welcomed Jagan at the airport.

After receiving Home Minister Shah, CM Jagan accompanied him till the Padmavati Guest House where he refreshed and changed. Meanwhile, CM Jagan went to Sri Krishna Guest House for changing. Jagan wore traditional Panche Kattu and went to Padamavati Guest House to receive Shah.

Both Shah and Jagan reached the Lord Venkateswara temple, Tirumala in same car. Shah and Jagan offered special prayers to the Lord Balaji. BJP state chief Somu Veerraju, leaders Kanan Lakshminaryana, Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh and BJP spokesperson Vishnuvardhan Reddy and other BJP leaders have accompanied Shah.

After offering prayers, Amit Shah left to Tirupati’s Taj hotel for overnight stay. Shah has come to attend the 29th Southern Zonal Council Meet being held on Sunday in Tirupati. CM Jagan has left to Tadepalli and expected to return to Tirupati on Sunday afternoon. For beginners, the zonal councils are meant for dialogue and discussion on the issues affecting two or more states or the Centre and states, in the spirit that strong states make a strong nation. The zonal councils provide a platform to foster such collaboration through a structured mechanism.

On the whole, CM Jagan has given utmost importance to Home Minister Amit Shah which became hot topic. Recently, Jagan government’s advertisements in various print media against the Centre on the Central Excise Tax on fuel prices and states not getting their due share from the Centre on taxes has become a hot political topic with state BJP leaders coming down heavily on Jagan’s government.
