CBI Should Question Jagan in Viveka’s murder: Pattabhi

TDP’s official spokesperson Pattabhi Ram alleged the prime accused in YS Viveka’s murder case, Umashankar Reddy is a close aide of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy. The TDP leader went on to add that CM YS Jagan should also be questioned by the CBI in connection with the case.

Backing his demands, Pattabhi added that CM Jagan has initiated Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe twice but they (SIT) could not trace the murderers.

“Umashankar Reddy, Avinash Reddy and Bhaskar Reddy’s names were mentioned in the testimony of Viveka’s driver Sheik Dastagiri who turned approver and also in the petitions of Viveka’s daughter Sunitha. Avinash Reddy and UmaShankar Reddy were the first persons to reach Viveka’s death spot. They tried to alert the evidence at the crime spot and pictured it as a heart-attack,” alleged Pattabhi.

These are serious accusations by the TDP leader and it would invite consequences from the YSRCP. After turning approver, Dastagiri confessed that Viveka was murdered by Erra Gangireddy, former follower and dairy trader Gajjala Umashankar Reddy, Sunil Yadav and ex-driver Dastagiri himself due to financial disputes.
