RRR Stages One-day Protest In Support To The AP Staff

YCP rebel and Narsapuram MP K. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju staged a one-day protest in support to the Andhra Pradesh government employees who are set to launch an agitation from tomorrow against the injustice done to them with regard to the 11th Pay Revision Commission.

He even showed a video clipping wherein YCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy vociferously opposed the injustice done to the employees during the TDP regime. In the clipping, Jagan lamented that the employees would end up in a pathetic condition due to the CPS which the TDP government planned to implement during its regime. Jagan even lamented that government itself was promoting employees to be corrupt by delaying their salaries. He said that he would sanction house sites and even get houses constructed for the employees when the YCP government would come to power.

During his campaign, Jagan even promised to ensure that the employees received their payments on time. RRR said that the employees should launch an agitation drawing inspiration from Jagan Mohan Reddy himself.

RRR took exception to the YCP leaders terming his one-day deeksha as being done by as insane person. He reminded that Jagan also used to do such small deekshas when he was in the opposition and asked the YCP leaders why they were terming him insane.

The YCP rebel MP also pointed out that it was anarchic to prevent the employees from even wearing black badges when they attended the meet with the government authorities this evening. The government staff were not allowed to wear the badges saying that Jagan Mohan Reddy does not like such things, RRR said.

He even mocked at the HRA cutting done in the employees’ salary by showing a ‘Nadu-Nedu’ poster which showed a pucca building and a tiled roof house. An employee living in a pucca building will have to shift to a tiled roof house once the HRA cutting is implemented, he pointed out.

Narsapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju said the idea of him quitting the YCP and contesting the elections was sending jitters down the spine of the party leaders and hence, not expelling him from the party now.
