Dhanush Entering Politics No Time Soon?

Tamil Nadu politics took a very interesting turn after Thalapathy Vijay managed to become the chief minister of the state in his very first attempt. This appears to have inspired a section of new stars to also pursue political dreams.

In this connection, there has been a lot of discussion about another Tamil star Dhanush possibly entering the political arena. He had been launching his own political campaign in Tamil Nadu, through his fan groups across the state.

There were even reports that the BJP high command was actively in talks with Dhanush and is looking to bring him into the AIDMK party, which is there in Tamil Nadu. But it appears that the actual ground level movement regarding the political launch of Dhanush is very slow at this point.

Rajkumar Periyasamy, who is directing the immediate next film of Dhanush, which happens to be Om, commented that the star actor had already started shooting for another film before the release of Om. He pointed out that Dhanush also has five films in the lineup.

This talented filmmaker commented that he himself is wanting to know if Dhanush is actually interested in political debut or whether he would be entering politics any time soon.

But going by the existing information that is revealed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, it appears that Dhanush has already lined up five films, which would take at least 3 to 4 years in production. If that is the case, then there is very little time for him to actually look at his political ideology.

While there was significant social movement from Dhanush including meetings with the common public, and also his supporters, many people expected that his political launch might not be too far. But considering the busy film lineup that he has prepared for the next few years, there is little scope for political entry.

Going by this metric, Dhanush might not be making his political debut in the near future. But at the same time, things can change quickly, and he might change his mind briefly and look after the party activities along with social activities to set the ground for his party launch.
