CULT Release Trailer: Vishwaksen Turns Up Violence!

A unique slasher CULT, starring, writen and directed by Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen is all set to hit the big screens tomorrow. Vishwak and team are going all-out in promoting the movie. Meanwhile, they came up with a release trailer.

The new trailer places DSP Sankalp Nayak at the centre of the narrative. The police officer is introduced as someone who refuses to remain silent when locals in Goa harass outsiders, particularly Telugu people. His decision to move to Goa is driven by the desire to stand up for those facing such trouble. However, the footage gradually takes a darker turn, culminating in glimpses of a violent episode at a party that raises questions about the character and the circumstances surrounding the killings.

The change in emphasis makes the release trailer notably different from the first one. The video gives greater importance to the protagonist’s personality, motivations and intense nature. The final shots, meanwhile, suggest that the story could move into increasingly unpredictable territory.

Vishwaksen appears in a fierce avatar, handling the action-heavy role with the aggression and screen presence it demands. The violence is also presented through an unusual stylistic approach.

Backed by producer Sandeep Kakarala under the Tarak Cinemas banner, the production and technical standards look grand, with Aravind Viswanathan handling cinematography and Ravi Basrur providing the music.

The latest promotional material suggests that CULT will rely on a combination of character-driven conflict, high-impact action and a narrative that deliberately steps away from familiar storytelling patterns.
