TDP state president K. Atchannaidu exuded confidence that their party would win 160 Assembly seats in the next elections. Don’t think that there are two more years for the polls to be held. Elections can be conducted any time from now, he said.
Atchannaidu called upon the party cadre to be ready for the elections at any moment.
He was speaking at a workshop conducted by the farmers’ cell in Hanuman Junction. He alleged that the YCP government had betrayed the farmers and asked the party farmer wing leaders to meet every farmer in the state and know about their hardships.
The TDP leader said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had rode on the sympathy wave of his uncle YS Viveka’s murder and won the elections. The TDP has been alleging the involvement of Jagan and his kin in the murder. Why are those involved in the murder not being punished so far, the TDP leader questioned.
There is a lot of opposition against the ruling YCP leaders in the state, he said and added that people have understood the difference between the administration by Jagan and Naidu.
