There have been many reports about AP cabinet expansion and many YCP MLAs are eagerly anticipating the same. But they are unable to figure out what’s in CM YS Jagan’s mind. Amidst this CM Jagan made key comments and it’s kind of disappointing to YCP MLAs.
“I know many people want to be ministers. But that doesn’t mean MLAs who are not ministers are ignored by the party. If we win the next elections, many of you may be ministers in the next term. For now every MLA and leader should work for the party and ensure its strength,” said Jagan.
These statements suggest that CM Jagan is not looking for any cabinet expansion or reshuffle in near future. But very soon the YCP’s Legislature party meeting is expected to take place and it will be discussing many things including the cabinet expansion. Probably in this meeting clarity on cabinet expansion may arrive.
When YCP formed the government in 2019, Jagan had planned a cabinet reshuffle after two and half years. But Jagan’s plans were turned upside down due to multiple reasons and in another couple of months, YCP government will complete three years and it’s all Jagan’s call.
