Me & PK Are Committed For A Collective Change In 2024: KCR

Telangana CM KCR has reacted to the reports of Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CBI raids on his government which have been making rounds over the last couple of days. “ED Kakapothe Bodi Dadi Chestadu.. (Let ED come and hold raids, what’s there?) commented KCR and added that the central agencies are most welcome to Telangana.

This morning TRSLP met under the leadership of KCR and widely discussed about the procurement of paddy and a few more. “As per the Food Security Act, it is the responsibility of the government of India to procure the entire paddy crop of the Yasangi season. India’s ranking in Hunger Index has gone down drastically and why is the government of India hesitant to procure the paddy from us. Like in Punjab, the GoI should purchase the entire crop from Telangana. A ministers representation will be flying tomorrow and meet Union Minister and demand the same and if the GoI fails to purchase the crop, we will intensify our agitation. This is life and death matter of farmers and we will not rest,” said KCR.

During this press meet, the journalists asked about the early polls in Telangana and KCR clarified that the Assembly elections will be held as per the schedule and there is no change. “In the next elections, TRS party will win from 95 to 105 seats based on latest survey. An independent organisation has held a survey in 30 segments and it showed we are going to win 29 seats without any doubt,” said KCR.

Reiterating that he would play a crucial role in national politics, KCR added that like the UPA, even the NDA government failed miserably to address the issues. “In the last eight years not even one notable project was constructed by the BJP government. But they want to ignite hatred among the people like in Bondhan. We do worship Shivaji Maharaj but that’s not the issue. Talk about poverty, employment and farmers concerns. There are 15 Lakh vacancies in the central government sector,” added KCR.

When asked about Prashant Kishor working for TRS, KCR made surprising comments that the former has been his best friend for the last 7 to 8 years. “Prashant Kishor worked for BJP in 2014 and now he is working for us. What is in it to really debate? He did not charge a penny from us. Me and PK are committed to bring a collective change in 2024,” said KCR.

The TRS chief also reacted on reports of the gap between him and Chinna Jeeyar Swami. “Who told you (journalist) that there is a gap between us? Don’t ask such silly questions,” replied KCR to the journalist.

On the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ KCR added that to divert the attention of the public, this film was brought to limelight. “When militancy broke out in Kashmir, it was BJP that is in government and still Kashmiri Pandits are taking shelter in Delhi. Does the GoI have any clarity on their rehabilitation? We don’t need ‘Kashmir Files,’ we need ‘Development Files’ and so on,” added KCR.
