Talk: Jana Sena’s Lack Of Foresight!

Janasena

In recent times Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan confidently announced that the next government in AP is going to be his. He dared that YCP will be thrown out no matter what and Jana Sena will form a full-fledged government on its own. How far does Pawan’s statement make sense? Will Pawan’s prediction about his party come true?

To form a government, it’s not a cake walk. A political party and its chief should always be among people, learn their problems and assure to resolve them, if voted to power. The second way is to offer money to people during polls. Pawan led Jana Sena is against the second option because it is against the party’s principles.

This means the only option before Pawan is to stay among the people. Ironically he is not doing it. Once in a while he is visiting AP and taking part in party related activities. Pawan is not visiting places to get to know the concerns of people. AP has serious issues to deal with yet Pawan is not working on them to take advantage (political) which can do wonders.

A few months back Pawan initiated the restoration of Highways (roads) across AP. This protest from Jana Sena received massive response from the public. The YCP government got alerted to this and tried to make up for it. But Pawan promised that the protest on bad roads will be a longer one. Surprisingly it was short lived and whatever the mileage, Jana Sena received vanished with time.

Right after this protest, Jana Sena did not plan a single one and there is something clearly missing in the party’s future agenda. With no proper outline to counter the ruling party, it will be one hell of a task to convince the people for votes in the next elections.

A few neutral leaders within Jana Sena opine that Pawan should allot more time for AP affairs. Visiting places where concerns make it to the headlines, ensure a quick solution and promise to bring a permanent solution are some of the things Pawan has to do when he visits AP.

The onus is also on Jana Sena leaders to initiate protests or programs. Simultaneously they should also pressure Pawan Kalyan to take up the matters at high importance and address them duly. Party’s face value would improve with such actions, else it would be another opportunity lost.
