In what could be a big blow to the YSRCP government, AP Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan has ordered AP government to reappoint Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as AP State Election Commissioner (APSEC).
The Raj Bhavan sources have short while ago forwarded the AP Governor’s decision to the state government. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar was sacked by Jagan government for postponing the local body elections. Then Nimmagadda went to AP High Court and got a verdict in his favour. Even after that the YSRCP government did not reappoint Nimmagadda and once again the matter went to court.
Upon AP High Court suggestion, Nimmagadda met AP Governor and requested the Governor to order AP government to take him as APSEC. After nearly three days, AP Governor took a decision in favour of Nimmagadda.
This is a huge shock for YSRCP government which was hopeful that AP Governor would act in their favor. Now AP Governor has ‘Three Capitals’ bill with him and his decision is being the most anticipated.
