Corona Cases In India
Until yesterday, India is in eighth position in the number of Covid-19 deaths and today, India has climbed one spot up and secured seventh position. In the last 24 hours, 648 people have died while the total death count is 28,770.
USA, Brazil, UK, Mexico, Italy and France are the countries that are ahead of India in Covid-19 deaths. But going by the trend, India may soon surpass the likes of France and occupy by the sixth spot.
Also 37,724 new cases have been filed in the last 24 hours and total cases mark is nearing 12 Lakh mark. The total COVID-19 positive cases stand at 11,92,915 including 4,11,133 active cases and 7,53,050 cured. 3,43,243 samples were tested yesterday and the total number of samples tested up to 21st July is 1,47,24, 546,” said ICMR in a statement.
