Every political party needs money to run the operations and to form a government, the financial resources requirement would be huge. All the political parties in the country highly depend on donations but a majority of the parties have secret donors and political parties are exempted from tax.
But the Jana Sena Party is different from regular political parties. It doesn’t encourage corrupted money and seeks donations with an honest approach. In the recent times we have heard that Jana Sena is falling short of some financial assistance and chief Pawan stepped in here.
In the Jana Sena Party extensive meeting, Pawan donated a sum of Rs 5 crore towards the party fund. But this money would be used for the welfare of the families of those farmers who committed suicide, said Pawan in the meeting. He stated that he donated the amount from his remuneration of ‘Bheemla Nayak.’
Pawan added that the plight of tenant farmers is poor in the state. 1,019 tenant farmers ended their lives in the first year of YCP government yet the state government is unmoved. With the Rs 5 crore donation, Jana Sena would make a contribution of Rs 1 Lakh to each of the deceased family.
From April 12th, Jana Sena will be carrying ‘Jana Sena Raitu Bharosa Yatra’ and he appealed to the party leaders to reach the kin of tenant farmers and assure all possible support to the farmers.
Farmers are a crucial vote bank in elections and Pawan made a right choice to win the trust of farmers and then people.
