Jagan Reddy will embark on his first business tour post becoming the Chief Minister of AP and next month, he will be flying to Switzerland but this is not any vacation. This would be Jagan’s second foreign tour as CM. With international travel restrictions in place over the last two years, Jagan hadn’t stepped out of the country.
Jagan will take place in the 2022 World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held in Davos. The last two years WEF was held virtually and this year, the forum has decided to host the event inviting all prominent leaders and faces around the world.
The WEF annual meeting is scheduled from May 22nd to 26th, Jagan will attend the forum. A couple of ministers will be accompanying Jagan and among them could be IT minister Gudivada Amarnath.
For about a week Jagan will be in Davos, participating in a wide range of summits, talks and meetings. He would also get a chance to meet CEOs of big technology companies around the world and Jagan may invite them for investments in Andhra Pradesh.
AP desperately needs investments and this is a golden opportunity for Jagan and he should make the most out of it.
