CBN Ropes In BC Leader For Chirala

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has focused on strengthening the party. Ahead of the next general election in 2024, CBN is closely looking into the weak spots and filling them.

Coming to Chirala Assembly constituency in Prakasam district, TDP’s sitting MLA Karanam Balaram has defected to the ruling YSR Congress Party. Although he hasn’t officially joined YSRCP, he is continuing in his MLA post and took YCP side. Finally, Chandrababu seems to have found a strong BC leader Madduluri Malakondaiah in the region to give a stiff competition to YSRCP.

MM Kondaiah, a successful businessman with educational institutions and real-estate firm, has vast political experience as well. He had earlier contested as MP from the TDP but was unsuccessful. He has been appointed as Chirala Assembly TDP incharge. A formal announcement is expected to be made tomorrow.

Kondaiah is likely to contest as TDP MLA from Chirala in 2024. Chirala has a large base of voters from Yadava community which is expected to come in handy for Kondaiah who is known as soft-spoken and hard-working leader.

Kondaiah’s elder son Amarnath Madduluri is married to actor Nikhil’s sister. This filmy connection is also another advantage for Kondaiah.
