Viral: BC Minister Kneels In Front Of Subba Reddy

YCP president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy enjoys applause and compliments and expects his MLAs to leave no opportunity to display their loyalty to him. For that matter, who would not love being praised and appreciated for one’s deeds but Jagan loves it in a higher dose.

Sensing this feeling in the CM, the new ministers in the Cabinet are trying to be in the good books of Jagan and get recognised by him displaying praising him and expressing their devotion to him. The new ministers are being cautious and trying to prove their loyalty even to those moving close to Jagan, as they believe that they can influence their party boss. The YCP cadre treat government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, YCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy in the same way as they consider Jagan.

In one such act displaying gratefulness to Jagan for being chosen as a minister, Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna knelt on his knees and bowed down to Y.V. Subba Reddy at a meeting held to condole the death of a former MLA’s son in Amalapuram.

Venugopalakrishna went down on his knees and bowed before Subba Reddy even in the presence of many onlookers, including his own party men, and expressed his gratitude for the efforts being put by the TTD chairman and Jagan too in the upliftment of Setti Balija community, to which he belongs.

Political analysts said that Jagan follows his own strategy as part of which voters have been completely segregated based on their caste and religion. During his five-year rule, Jagan will try to woo every caste and give the local leaders of that specific community plum posts to ensure that the votes of that caste get into his kitty and he can get elected as the CM for a second term.

However, senior political leaders and political observers faulted Chelluboyina for his act as being a minister, it was not good to show loyalty to the party boss. In fact, he should be people’s servant addressing their problems and grievances. However, a majority of the YCP leaders are expressing their devotion to the party chief, undermining the welfare of the people, who voted them to power.

In the past, the same minister suggested that the media praise Jagan in their writings, as that would work because he had become a minister only by praising the CM.

During the swearing-in ceremony too, the new ministers almost prostrated before the CM, forgetting that people older than Jagan and holding higher positions than him were present on the dais like Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan. Without a second thought and as if told by some senior party leaders, all the ministers fell at Jagan’s feet soon after taking oath as ministers.

The ministers falling at Jagan’s feet is making onlookers remember former CM of Tamil Nadu late Jayalalithaa who also remained silent even if the ministers prostrated before her. It has to be seen how long the ministers can sustain this feeling of submission to Jagan.
