TDP Cadre Committed Those Rapes: CM Jagan

Hitting back at the Opposition TDP, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy blamed the ‘yellow party’ for the increasing atrocities against women. He alleged that the TDP leaders were behind the three recent crimes of rape in Vijayawada, Guntur and Visakha districts.

The TDP leaders raise a hue and cry over the increasing crime against women and girls in the state even while they themselves are responsible for the incidents. The yellow party leaders themselves write the script, direct and even do the role play in these crimes, he alleged.

The CM said that the yellow media – Eenadu, Andhrajyothi and TV5, do not write about the culprits behind the crime but keep on complaining and blaming the ruling party for being negligent. The yellow media does not write about the culprits because it is the TDP leaders themselves who are involved in such heinous crimes, the CM pointed out. The TDP men commit crimes and level allegations against the ruling party.

In such a situation, Jagan said that the only thing he could do is to pray to Lord Venkateswara to save the state from the TDP and yellow media, which he likened to a venomous snake. The yellow media and TDP are on a rampage but are trying to put all the blame on the ruling party, he said.

These allegations would remind one of the series of attacks on Hindu temples in the past. Even at that time, the YCP leaders blamed the TDP cadre for orchestrating the damage and destruction of the idols and temples but putting the blame on the YCP.

However, the public in AP fail to understand why a certain type of crime is occurring like a series, back-to-back, as though the criminals have chalked out a plan and executed it.
