PM Amit Shah: Assam CM slip of tongue comment!

In a viral video, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma referred Amit Shah as Prime Minister and Narendra Modi as Home Minister while addressing a public meeting and this invited trolls all over social media.

Sharing this video the Assam Congress wondered whether the BJP national leadership is planning to replace Narendra Modi with Amit Shah. “Has #BJP decided its next @PMOIndia replacing @narendramodi Ji? Or a campaign has been launched to promote @AmitShah ji as the PM?” tweeted the Assam Congress handle.

But the BJP reacted strongly to this viral video and accepted that CM Himanta Biswa Sarma got carried away while addressing the gathering. “It’s a deliberate false campaign being run by Congress for silly politics. As far as BJP is concerned Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister and Amit Shah is the Home Minister,” said BJP Spokesperson Rupam Goswami.

How can a person in Chief Minister’s position fumble on India’s Prime Minister and Home Minister? Assam CM Himata Biswa Sarma always gets into controversies unknowingly and this is yet another episode of such acts.
