Why Jagan Skipped Mamata’s Meeting?

Yesterday in the national capital Trinamool Congress chief and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee hosted an all party (excluding BJP) meeting in view of Presidential elections. Initially there were reports that Mamata dialed Telangana CM KCR but avoided AP CM YS Jagan and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

KCR led TRS party intentionally avoided this meeting as Mamata Banerjee invited Congress party as well. And from AP, both the major parties, TDP and YSRCP haven’t made it.

Shockingly we hear that Mamata had actually extended an invitation to CM Jagan and a letter of the same is out on the internet. The letter was reportedly written on June 11th and Mamata urged Jagan to make it to the opposition meeting on June 15th. What’s interesting is the letter is doing rounds on the internet after the meeting got concluded.

This means Jagan received an invitation from Mamata and he has complete knowledge of the meeting. Yet he did not make it either; he sent a representation on his behalf or YSRCP.

What does this mean from Jagan? Is he indirectly supporting BJP in the President Polls? Apparently YSRCP has got a huge role to play in the Presidential polls and they have an opportunity to make any party come at their door steps but the YCP is not doing anything as such even though the elections are a month away.

But what’s in Jagan’s mind regarding the Presidential elections? Which party/candidate, YSRCP will support and vote?

TDP and oppositions in AP are criticising that Jagan is scared of PM Modi that in case he attends or supports opposition’s candidate in Presidential elections, he might face raids of ED, CBI etc. in his disproportionate assets case.
