Committed To Wipe Out Poverty With Education: Jagan

AP CM YS Jagan mentioned that the YCP government is implementing as many as nine schemes for the education sector and the motto of these schemes is to reduce the social and economic gaps in the society.

In Adoni, Jagan flagged off Jagananna Vidya Kanuka and speaking on the occasion, he said only with quality education, poverty can be eradicated. My government is implementing many schemes like Amma Vodi that encourages parents to send their kids to schools, Jagananna Goru Muddha that provides nutritious food to the students, Naadu-Nedu, a scheme that is facing the infrastructure and logistics in the government run schools.

“In the year 2020-21, our government spent Rs 648 crore on Jagananna Vidya Kanuka and Rs 789 crore for the following year. This year Rs 931 crore is spent on the same scheme and 47.40 Lakh students are going to benefit from the scheme. We are also introducing English medium that infuses confidence in the students. Once the students step into Eight standard, they would be getting tabs from BYJU’s and I’m committed to wipe out poverty with education,” exclaimed Jagan.

With confidence CM Jagan stated that with such schemes, the admissions in government schools have spiked by seven lakhs.
