Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan who is a doctor by profession provided timely treatment for a person and saved his life. Going into details, Tamilisai was returning to Hyderabad from Varanasi via New Delhi and in the same flight, a passenger complained of severe chest pain.
The cabin crew of the flight immediately announced SOS, a code for help during an emergency. Tamilisai being on board, responded to the SOS call and attended to the patient. She performed CPR inside the golden hour and this eventually relieved the distressed patient.
Fellow passengers appreciated Governor Tamilisai’s response and treating the patient. Pictures of Tamilisai and the patient surfaced on social media while netizens applauded Tamilisai’s well-timed medication.
Governor Tamilisai had done her MBBS from Madras Medical College and specialization from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. She was a practicing gynaecologist before entering politics.
