KCR Reveals Modi’s 1,000 Crs Offer, If They Sell RTC

Telangana CM KCR ripped BJP in the Telangana Assembly and added that it (BJP) has just 18 to 20 months time in power. In his speech KCR said that the Modi government is pressuring the state government to sell state owned Road Transport Corporation (RTC).

“In the last eight years, the BJP government has sold many valuable assets of the nation. Now the Modi government is forcing the state governments to apply their policy of selling everything. Accordingly we are receiving letters from New Delhi asking us to sell RTC and the state government that sells RTC would get Rs 1000 crore additional funds from centre. I have no clue what this offer is but my government will not do as said by the BJP government,” said KCR.

On the electricity reforms, KCR blamed PM Modi and BJP that it is causing unnecessary troubles to the state. “TRS government severely opposes the Electricity Reforms Act. In the Power Consumption Index, India is ranked 104 out of the 140 countries. It’s a shame that after 75 years of Independence, our power consumption capacity is just 290 units,” stated KCR.

On the orders that Telangana government received from GoI to clear the pending dues related to AP, KCR opined that they were biased orders. “We are supposed to Rs 3000 odd crore and shockingly they imposed Rs 18 percent interest which is nowhere in the world. If unpaid, the BJP is blackmailing that they would impose restrictions through the RBI,” explained KCR.

Reiterating on going to national politics, KCR added that the BJP government has completely failed in the last eight years and there is a need for a new party at the national level that can lead the country in progressive direction. This BJP government has just 18 to 20 months after that we will bring a government that is pro-farmers.

KCR went full blazing at PM Modi and BJP and this implies that he is all set for a national party that is in the offing.
