48 hours after touching the 3 Lakh mark of Covid-19 cases, Andhra Pradesh has reported a total of 3000 deaths. 95 people have died in the last 24 hours and this has taken the death count to touch 3000 mark and current is at 3001.
Guntur, Kurnool and East Godavari districts posted over three hundred deaths each. Guntur death tally is at 319 while Kurnool is at 314 and East Godavari district posted 303 deaths. Vizianagaram and AP CM YS Jagan’s home district Kadapa have the least death count with 134 and 136 respectively.
Freshly 9393 new positive cases have been reported and the total cases are at 3,25,396 while the active cases are 87,117 and cured count is 2,35,218. 8846 people got discharged in the last 24 hours.
The health bulletin of the AP state added that the samples tested as of August 20th (10 AM) is 30,74,847 and yesterday 55,551 samples were tested.
