Despite lukewarm response from the public, the YCP government is carrying out ‘Gadapa – Gadapaku YCP program yet the scenario hasn’t changed. The public are questioning the YCP ministers and MLAs to address and resolve their problems. At many places, the YCP ministers and MLAs found it tough to reply to the public and here is an MLA who slapped a man for asking his concerns.
The YCP leader is none other than AP CM YS Jagan’s ‘Mena-Mama’ (Father-in-law) and Kamalapuram MLA Ravindranath Reddy. This incident took place in Alidinne village of VN palli mandal of Kadapa district. The video of Ravindranath Reddy slapping the man had gone viral and people criticised the MLA for being arrogant.
Well there is a twist to this story as MLA Ravindranath Reddy issued a clarification. Comparing the slapgate with hero Balakrishna slapping his fans, MLA Ravindranath Reddy added that he is innocent in this episode.
“It was a casual gesture (slap) and just like Balakrishna, I slapped a fan of YCP,” said Ravindranath Reddy. That’s not over yet, the YCP MLA produced the man before the media and the victim had no other choice rather than settle the issue in front of the press else he would know the consequences. The victim claimed that he is a huge fan of YSR, YS Jagan and YS family and they always vote for YCP.
