Rave party busted in Hyd: 33 arrested

The New Year is approaching and rave party culture has yet again hit the Hyderabad city. On Saturday night the Hyderabad police busted a rave party in Hayathnagar limits and 33 people were detained by the cops including 29 men and 4 women.

According to the police’s first preliminary information, it was a birthday party thrown away by engineering students of popular engineering colleges CBIT and MGIT. Having received credible information, the police rushed to the farm house located at Pasumamula and busted this rave party. Two persons reportedly managed to escape from the police and a search is being launched to trace them. The report is that Subhash is the prime person hosting the rave party.

In the police raids, they detected that the engineering students were consuming marijuana (Ganja) which is a prohibited substance. The police probed the details of the students and their parents were called. The higher officials will be counseling both students and parents.

With this incident the police went on high alert especially in the outskirts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
