Ravindra Jadeja needs no introduction to those who regularly follow Indian cricket. The former Indian cricketer’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, is now trending all over the internet. Rivaba contested for the Jamnagar North Assembly seat in the Gujarat Assembly elections. As expected, she defeated her rival, Karsan Karmur, from Aam Aadmi Party by a margin of 61065 votes.
BJP backed Rivaba, and from the beginning, she expressed great confidence over tasting the victory in the elections. The huge margin is something that is not expected, and it has shown the confidence of the public in her.
Rivaba Jadeja credited the people of her constituency for the victory. Soon after the result came out, she spoke to the media. Rivaba said, “BJP worked in Gujarat very well for the last 27 years and established the Gujarat model. The public believed in us, and they all wished for the development to be taken forward. Gujarat was with BJP and will continue to be with it.”
Despite some opposition, Rivaba replaced BJP’s incumbent legislator Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, who is also known as Hakubha.
