YCP rebel MP Kanumuri Raghurama Krishnam Raju has always been critical of Jagan’s government.
In his latest shot at the YCP government, the MP warned boozers that there was risk to their life if they continued drinking the various liquor brands being put up for sale by the AP government. People are likely to die in 2-3 years if they consume the liquor being manufactured in AP, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, he said that the AP government was selling bizarre brands of which boozers had never heard in any part of the country. When different brands being manufactured by the same distillery can prove hazardous to the health of the consumers, the different liquor brands being kept available for sale in AP can prove fatal in a couple of years.
He said that it was not fair on the part of the AP government to sell the “never seen-never heard” liquor brands in the name of phase wise implementation of prohibition. He also advised the public to stop consuming the strange liquor brands being offered by the AP government. “Mayadari brandla gurinchi Jagan ku teleedu,” he said.
He also wondered how the AP government was able to churn strange brands which were not available in the entire country. The MP suggested that an inquiry be launched into the various liquor brands in AP and that the people’s health should be protected.
