MLA Attends Assembly With Her Baby!

She is an MLA. But she is also a mother. She has attended the Assembly session with her baby. Saroj Ahire, Nationalist Congress Party MLA from Deolali constituency in Maharashtra, has attended the Assembly session with her new-born baby. 

Ms Ahire came to the first day of the winter session with her baby who was seen wrapped in a blanket. Saorj Ahire walked through the corridors carrying her baby. The child was seen sleeping in Saroj’s arms peacefully. Her colleagues and fellow legislators from various political parties have greeted her. Some have also clicked selfies with the baby and mother.

Saroj Ahire doesn’t want to miss this winter session of Assembly. She wanted to attend since it was being held in Nagpur after more than two years.

“I am a mother and a people’s representative. For the past two and half years due to corona pandemic, no assembly session has been held here in Nagpur. I am a mother now but to put my points and to raise questions, I have come here to get answers for my voters,” Ms Ahire was heard saying to media persons.
