Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today. Jagan has gifted a large statue of Lord Shri Vishnu to the PM. The all-black statue with Shank and Chakra in the hands of Vishnu looked beautiful. PM Modi seems to be impressed with this gift of CM Jagan.
Jagan has earlier gifted relatively smaller idols. This time around, it seems to be very special. CM Jagan reached New Delhi on Tuesday night and he met PM Modi on Wednesday. Jagan is said to have spent about 50 minutes at the PM’s residence.
Jagan discussed various crucial issues related to the state including the unfulfilled acts in the AP Reorganisation Act, funds for construction of Polavaram National Irrigation Project and others.
AP CM Jagan also met Union Cabinet Minister for Environment, Forest Bhupendra Yadav. He is also expected to meet a couple of other union ministers today evening. Meanwhile, CM Jagan is going to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah tonight. Jagan got Amit Shah’s appointment at around 10 PM tonight.
