TTD Chairman: Reddy Out – Reddy In?

In the recent past many decisions of AP CM YS Jagan Reddy’s are in view of 2024 elections. Falling in that line, Jagan is said to have focused on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and buzz is that there will be a new panel for TTD very soon. Yet there will be no change in nomenclature because if one Reddy walks away, another Reddy steps in.

Current TTD panel has another eight months time but CM Jagan wants to reshuffle the panel. Jagan’s Babai YV Subba Reddy is currently the chairman of TTD and he might be shown exit doors to give way for Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy.

However this is not any action against YV Subba Reddy. CM Jagan wants to give full authority to Subba Reddy in handling the political and party affairs of UttarAndhra region. Apparently Subba Reddy was not pleased with the idea of TTD chairman but reluctantly accepted with Jagan’s force. Now Subba Reddy made up his mind that he cannot continue as TTD chairman and informed Jagan.

After looking at many names, Jagan preferred the Tirupati MLA’s name. Bhumana is a loyalist of Jagan and many expected that he would get a cabinet berth. Unfortunately due to some equations, Bhumana missed out but Jagan wanted to appoint him as TTD chairman and give cabinet rank.

Going by the buzz, in another two weeks, the new panel will be ready and post Sankranthi festival, the new panel will take charge of TTD.
